Project Objectives

Increasing awareness of the importance of communication skills used in HR recruting departments.
Facilitating access to methods of developing communication skills for 75 students from technical faculties.
Developing communication and public speaking skills for 75 students from technical faculties.


Free course „FROM PERSONAL TO PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION”

The Youth for Education and Society Association is organizing a free course „FROM PERSONAL TO PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION” for 75 young students up to the age of 35, enrolled in a form of higher education.

Courses take place in Bucharest from the 20th until the 23rd of October 2016, as follows:

20 - 21 of October 2016, 4 – 8 pm (Thursday and Friday);
22 - 23 of October 2016, 11 am – 5 pm (Saturday and Sunday).

The group breakdown will be in the order of enrollment; the results of the selection and distribution will be communicated to the participants by e-mail.

Registration Requirements:

Interested students will enroll using the registration form available on the TES website. In order to participate in the FROM PERSONAL TO PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION course, enrolled persons have to prove their status as a student through a copy of their student’s grade book, which they will then bring to the course.

Entries can be made until October 15th 2016, 8 pm.
The selection results will be emailed on October 16th 2016, at 8 pm.
Confirmations will be made until October 18th 2016, 8 pm.

COURSE ORGANIZATION
The „PERSONAL TO PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION” course is based on the principles of non-formal education and is adapted to students from technical faculties.
The course aims at acquiring communication and integration skills in a dynamic and creative environment to achieve its maximum potential for performance.


What will you learn during class?

The course theme aims to develop skills that employers find fit for candidates through experiential learning:
- interpersonal communication;
- team communication;
- active listening;
- teamwork and leadership;
- public speaking.


The course is addressed to:

Students from technical faculties that want to improve their general communication skills;
Students from technical faculties working in student organizations and wanting to improve their communication skills;
Students from technical faculties who will have to do oral presentations of their work.
